Bristol City Council is looking to recruit a solicitor to join their existing Contract team of four solicitors and a legal assistant.
Based in the Council House you will be dealing with a wide variety of contractual matters across all council departments. This is an opportunity for someone who is genuinely interested in public sector contract and procurement work to join a busy and friendly team. Whilst experience in contract and commercial law would be desirable the ability to demonstrate good negotiating and drafting skills are equally important.
You will have a sound commercial understanding of the public sector context and a desire to play an active role in helping the Council achieve its corporate objectives.
