Salary up to £17,925 p.a.
Plus Travel Allowance up to £2,657.64 p.a.
This is an exciting time for Horsham District Council as we are about to embark on two major developments totalling 4,500 homes and an ambitious capital programme that includes the development of the town and village centres. This post is newly created to meet our increasing demand.
You will be required to undertake varied caseloads of conveyancing and property work on behalf of the Council including disposals, acquisitions, business tenancies, easements, advice and some complex high profile commercial property transactions. You will be required to draft complex legal documents and handle a large personal caseload with minimum supervision.
You will be a qualified solicitor or ILEX fellow and have experience of property law and conveyancing from either local government or private practice.
